The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel, (i.e Nursing, Paramedic, EMT and CNA Students) who need to know how to perform CPR, and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in and out of hospital settings. Basic Life Support (BLS) course is for credentialed healthcare providers and it is also recommended for students in the Healthcare course of study, such as nursing students, or any one who have never taken the AHA's BLS for the Healthcare Providers course or if your current BLS course completion card has been expired for more than 30 days. American Heart Association requires all course participants to have a current copy of the student course manual, before, during and after the course. A picture of the current student manual is shown on the left is included at a reduced rate.

The Basic Life Support Renewal course(BLS-R) is a basic CPR course for credentialed healthcare providers such as Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, or any other medical Healthcare providers who needs to renew thier BLS providers card. This course is not recommended for studetns who have never taken BLS or who have let thier Healthcare provider's card expire for more than 30 days. Students are required to bring thier hard copy of thier BLS healthcare Providers card with them the day of the course. This course is for healthcare providers seeking an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card. The price listed is for all 3 parts; however, if you have completed part 1 and you only need parts 2 and 3 you may select that option from the pull down menu once you are on the add to carts page. The price for parts 2 and 3 only is $35.00. An AHA course completion card will only be issued to those whom have completed all three parts of the AHA course. Taking an AHA CPR course? Prefer to have your own personal one way valve face mask for your training? Not only can you use these masks for training, you may use them for a real emergency. When taking an AHA CPR course, students are required to preform mouth to valve CPR. Though a recycled, decontaminated one way valve will be provided, some students elect to purchase thier own personal one way valve mask. These resuscitator masks offer superior protection to both rescuer and victim. Features include a one-way valve that prevents the passage of liquids and secretions; a soft, pliable bladder that facilitates a proper seal; a clear plastic design that allows visibility for proper positioning on the victim; and a head strap that ensures a secure fit. The adult mask includes an oxygen inlet in the event supplemental oxygen is needed, and a one-way valve that is also used with the infant mask. Comes with an adult/child resuscitator mask, an infant mask, a pair of vinyl gloves, an antiseptic wipe, and a nylon carry case. Lost your original course completion card? Need a replacement? No problam, duplicate cards are available for any student that took a valid course with Critical Actions Safety Center or any of our training sites. To get a duplaicate card simply choose the course type in which you need the duplicate card. Fill in the date and name of the course participant for whom the duplicate card need to be printed. The date to be entered is the date a course participant took the course. If you do not rember the exact date type the month and year you think you may have taken a class. Once verified a duplicate card will be ship to you, Duplicate cards are not available for any refunds.
