This is the first step in becoming an American Heart Association Instructor, This course is a prerequisite for all new instructor candidates, for all disciplines or for instructors adding another discipline to their teaching credentials. The BLS Online course Parts 1, 2, and 3 provides training that is convenient and flexible for employers and employees. This course is for healthcare providers seeking an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card. The price listed is for all 3 parts; however, if you have completed part 1 and you only need parts 2 and 3 you may select that option from the pull down menu once you are on the add to carts page. The price for parts 2 and 3 only is $35.00. An AHA course completion card will only be issued to those whom have completed all three parts of the AHA course. Taking an AHA CPR course? Prefer to have your own personal one way valve face mask for your training? Not only can you use these masks for training, you may use them for a real emergency. When taking an AHA CPR course, students are required to preform mouth to valve CPR. Though a recycled, decontaminated one way valve will be provided, some students elect to purchase thier own personal one way valve mask. These resuscitator masks offer superior protection to both rescuer and victim. Features include a one-way valve that prevents the passage of liquids and secretions; a soft, pliable bladder that facilitates a proper seal; a clear plastic design that allows visibility for proper positioning on the victim; and a head strap that ensures a secure fit. The adult mask includes an oxygen inlet in the event supplemental oxygen is needed, and a one-way valve that is also used with the infant mask. Comes with an adult/child resuscitator mask, an infant mask, a pair of vinyl gloves, an antiseptic wipe, and a nylon carry case. HeartCode® ACLS is an official, self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program from the American Heart Association (AHA). HeartCode® ACLS Part 1 uses eSimulation technology to present realistic patient scenarios. Students are presented with a team dynamics lesson, 10 ACLS hospital-based case scenarios, and a written exam. While interacting with the program, students assess each patient, formulate a treatment plan based on ACLS guidelines, and provide treatment. Successful completion of Part 1, the cognitive component, and Parts 2 and 3, skills practice and testing with an AHA ACLS Instructor from Critical Actions Safety Center, meets the requirements for obtaining an AHA ACLS Provider course completion card.
